CAIR-Chicago Attends New Americans Executive Order Public Meeting

CAIR-Chicago Governmental Relations Coordinator Sadiya Ahmed attended the public unveiling for the New American Executive Order policy recommendations on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Chicago History Museum. The Executive Order, a project of the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, aims to integrate immigrant communities in Illinois and provide additional services for immigrants. The first of its kind, the Executive Order is a project that ICIRR and partner organizations have been working with Governor Blagojevich on.
