CAIR-Chicago Staff Attorney Represents Muslim Man at Hearing

CAIR-Chicago Staff Attorney Kevin Vodak represented a Muslim man at his status hearing regarding his employment discrimination case. The case will enter the discovery phase in the coming months. The man was terminated from the Chicago Police Department for allegedly possessing an unregistered firearm. However, the man did not own the firearm in question. The man alleges that he was terminated due to religious discrimination because he was verbally harassed by coworkers until his dismissal. CAIR-Chicago will continue to represent the man in his employment discrimination claims.
