VOCALO 89.5: CAIR on Obama Middle East Speech

On May 19th 2011 President Barack Obama delivered a speech to the world to announce the United States' policy on issues in the Middle East in the midst of a surge in uprising against oppression in the region dubbed the Arab Spring. The Overdrive invited Christina Abraham, Civil Rights Director at the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Yaser Tabbara Syrian-American attorney activist and former Executive Director of CAIR, to help us gain perspective on the President's speech from the point of view of people who are invested in both the rights of the Middle Eastern people and the policy positions of the U.S.
