"Fordson" Screening has Reached Full Capacity

**DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND, THE SCREENING HAS REACHED FULL CAPACITY. WE APPRECIATE THE INTEREST AND SUPPORT.

WE WILL WORK ON ARRANGING FOR ANOTHER SCREENING IN THE FUTURE. LOOK OUT FOR DETAILS!!

On Wednesday, October 19, CAIR-Chicago will be hosting a private screening of the critically acclaimed documentary, Fordson: Faith, Fasting, Football, followed by a Q&A session with the director of the film, Rashid Ghazi.

The film “follows a predominately Arab-American high school football team from a working-class Detroit suburb as they practice for their big cross-town rivalry game during the last ten days of Ramadan, revealing a community holding onto its Islamic faith while they struggle for acceptance in post 9/11 America.“  Watch a  trailer for the movie here: http://fordsonthemovie.com/trailer.php

The award-winning documentary breaks many stereotypes of Muslims. Filmmaker Michael Moore has described it as "Powerful...Intelligent...Moving... I want everyone in the country to watch this film."

It will be screened in CAIR-Chicago's new Gallery.  Space is limited. You must RSVP to attend the event. Please RSVP to Sufyan Sohel at ssohel@CAIR.com.

We hope to see you there.
