VIDEO: A vigil in dedication to the fallen heroes of Syria

Dear civil rights and human rights supporters,

While mass protests began in Syria over one year ago, the Syrian government has responded to the Syrian people with brutal force – leaving more than 14,000 people killed according to the U.N.

For this reason, various organizations in Chicagoland have been rallying to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with the Syrian people.

On June 13th, CAIR-Chicago held a candlelight vigil in downtown Chicago.

This video, documenting the vigil, illustrates the solidarity between Chicagoans and the people of Syria through peaceful remembrance of all those who have lost their lives or are suffering in Syria.

We hope you enjoy it, and continue to voice your opposition to injustice.
