CAIR-Chicago joins Asian Americans Against Police Brutality at Press Conference [VIDEO]

Last week, a call was put out to the Asian-American community and others to come out against police brutality. The message read,

Join us in front of the mayor's office as we ask for justice for Jianqing “Jessica” Klyzek and call attention to the structural racism, misogyny, and xenophobia in Chicago Police Department. We will also deliver a UPS box plastered with stories and photos of our immigrant communities.

We are outraged by the actions of our local law enforcement and ask the Mayor of Chicago to take action for more accountability for those involved! Article: http://www.suntimes.com/27487657-761/lawsuit-chicago-cops-physically-verbally-abuse-woman-on-video.html#.U4JzllRdU3k

On Thursday May 29th CAIR-Chicago staff and interns joined with community leaders and organizers at Asian Americans Come Out Against Police Brutality.
