Who Will Stand For Justice?

After several very difficult fundraising years in a row, CAIR-Chicago faces the real possibility of not being able to keep its doors open for much longer. We have put our final hopes on a strong Ramadan push this year, yet unfortunately we have still only managed to raise a small fraction of our $300,000 fundraising goal. We believe that CAIR-Chicago is a vital institution. Where else would Muslims facing discrimination turn if not CAIR-Chicago? For over a decade we have defended civil rights, fought bigotry, and promoted tolerance, but our work is not over. This year has seen an unprecedented rise in anti-Muslim sentiment across the nation. Now more than ever CAIR-Chicago is needed to safeguard our communities from Islamophobia.

This news may sound dire, however we are hopeful. It will not take much to fuel CAIR-Chicago to meet the challenges of tomorrow but it will require you to act today. Take a moment to give what you can, be it $10 or $10,000. Every dollar counts.
