CAIR-Chicago Client Wins Citizenship After Long Struggle

After having her citizenship processes delayed for years Noor Mohsen has finally been granted U.S. citizenship thanks to the intervention of CAIR-Chicago. Originally from Yemen Mohsen's case had been obstructed again and again by USCIS siting that her English was not good enough to answer the questions required in the citizenship interview. CAIR-Chicago challenged this deferral, pushed through Mohsen's case and  provided a witness to ensure that Mohsen got the citizenship she deserved. The Mohsen family presented Trial Attorney Phil Robertson with a certificate of appreciation for all of his work on their case (pictured above). The certificate now hangs proudly on the wall of the civil rights office.
