The world is full of religious-based bigotry, hatred, and violence. Join us in honoring Dr. King’s dream for a better world by discussing interfaith peace with Chicago-area Jews, Muslims, and Christians and then joining them to hand out flyers promoting interfaith peace.

In recent months, we have seen religious-based hatred rising in our nation, especially against Muslim and Jews. Join us Monday, January 15, to honor Dr. King's dream by discussing with Chicago area Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians how we can stand against such hatred and for the beauty of interfaith diversity. We will join together to honor a man who stood for peace and the rights of others, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King once stated, “As a nation, we will and must come together as one and appreciate and embrace each other through both our similarities as well as our differences.”

The day will begin with interfaith dialogue and include a public witness to our values by handing out flyers that promote interfaith peace on State Street.

This event is sponsored by The Jewish Council on Urban Affairs, CAIR-Chicago, and The Children of Abraham Coalition. For more information, please email coacoalition@gmail.com or check out the Children of Abraham Coalition page on Facebook.
