CAIR-Chicago to Hold News Conference Reacting to SCOTUS ‘Muslim Ban’ Ruling

(Chicago, IL 6/25/18) – The Chicago office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Chicago) today announced a press conference to offer reactions to the anticipated U.S. Supreme Court decision on the legality of the Trump administration’s “Muslim Ban 3.0” whenever it is announced.

That decision could come as early as 10 a.m EST Monday, June 25th, and if not then on a later day in June. CAIR-Chicago will hold its news conference at 12:00 PM CST at its headquarters the day of the decision.

In December of last year, CAIR-Chicago applauded the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals' unanimous decision against the Trump administration's "Muslim Ban 3.0."

CAIR-Chicago has reported an unprecedented spike in bigotry targeting American Muslims and members of other minority groups since the election of Donald Trump as president and since his administration’s attempts to implement the Muslim Ban.
