CAIR-Chicago Delivers Qurans for Muslim Detainees at McHenry County Jail

CAIR-Chicago and social service organization Apna Ghar delivered ten Qurans to the Department of Homeland Security in order to send them to McHenry County Jail, which houses a substantial number of immigration detainees. This effort is part of a collaboration that seeks to ensure that all Muslim detainees can have access to Qurans written in Arabic if they so wish. CAIR-Chicago and Apna Ghar will continue to try to make Qurans available to Muslim detainees where needed. Copyright (C) 2006 CAIR-Chicago
