CAIR-Chicago Attends the Illinois Coalition for Immigrants and Refugee Rights Consultation Dinner

CAIR-Chicago Board President, Safaa Zarzour attended a consultation dinner on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The dinner, sponsored by Governor Rod Blagojevich and the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR), was held to discuss strategic ways of integration for immigrant communities. According to Safaa Zarzour, "It was a wonderful opportunity to participate in formulating recommendations that will most likely become policy that protects civil rights and rights of immigrants and will become reality."
