Three Muslim Men Sworn-In as U.S. Citizens

Three Muslim men were issued their oaths and naturalized as U.S. citizens today. The men were a part of the class action complaint filed by CAIR-Chicago, the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) and Competition Law Groups.

After years of waiting for approval of their naturalization applications, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) expedited their cases and granted their applications for citizenship.

CAIR-Chicago continues to represent Muslims who have been unreasonably delayed in the process for naturalization.
