CAIR-Chicago Government Relations Coordinator Presents at SAALT Conference
CAIR-Chicago Government Relations Coordinator Sadiya Ahmed presented on a panel discussion at the South Asian American Leaders of Tomorrow (SAALT) Summit on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. The panel, titled “Hearing from the Allies in the Social Justice Movement” focused on the work being done by different organizations on issues of social justice.
The South Asian Summit was held to connect South Asian leaders from around the country and establish an agenda for both social service agencies and civil rights organizations.
