CAIR-Chicago Attends ICIRR Annual Membership Meeting

CAIR-Chicago Executive Director Ahmed Rehab and Government Affairs Coordinator Sadiya Ahmed attended the annual membership meeting of the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR) on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 on the southwest side of Chicago. At the meeting, strategies for the upcoming year were discussed. Member organizations provided feedback on the immigration reform strategy from last year and on what they would like to see in the future.

In addition, new and continuing board members were confirmed; Ahmed Rehab was one of the new board members confirmed to the ICIRR board.
