CAIR-Chicago Attends Community Roundtable Sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security

CAIR-Chicago Executive Director Ahmed Rehab, Civil Rights Director Christina Abraham, and Staff Attorney Kevin Vodak attended the quarterly Community Roundtable held by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The roundtable features members of the Muslim, Sikh, South Asian, Arab, and Assyrian communities, as well as representatives from the various DHS offices such as the FBI, USCIS, ICE, CBP and others.

At the meeting, representatives of the United States Attorney’s Office as well as the State’s Attorney presented on the respective work of their offices, and the various programs they have available to the community.

The meeting was generously hosted by the Mosque Foundation in Bridgeview.
