Sunday Herald: Scotland a model for Muslim integration
A leading American Islamic community worker has claimed that Scotland could provide a "model community" for the integration of Muslims in European countries over the coming years. Ahmed Rehab, 31, will meet Members of the Scottish Parliament and local people this week with the message that Muslim pride in Scottish values is an important factor in avoiding turning communities into ghettos.
Rehab will speak on the issue alongside the deputy first minister, Nicola Sturgeon, at the Scottish Muslim Futures conference in Glasgow on Sunday.
