CAIR-Chicago Helps Man Get Citizenship After 4-Year Wait

On December 9th, Christina Abraham represented an applicant at his second citizenship interview. The applicant had originally filed for citizenship in 2004 as the spouse of a US citizen, and passed the citizenship test. In 2008, he was told that his application for citizenship had been declined because in the intervening 4 years he had gotten divorced from said spouse. He reapplied, and passed the citizenship test a second time. He was then sworn in as a naturalized citizen on December 14th.
