RSVP for CAIR-Chicago's 5th Annual "Taste of Ramadan" Iftar
Event registration is now closed for the 5th Annual Taste of Ramadan! Thanks to all of you for your support! We look forward to seeing those of you who RSVP'd at the event and hope that those of you who did not RSVP will be sure to join us at other events throughout the rest of the year! The RSVP list for the Taste of Ramadan will be enforced, as we have reached the limit authorized by the building code.

‘Iftar’ is an Arabic term that refers to the evening meal that breaks the daylight fast that Muslims observe during Ramadan. The meal is often organized as a community so that Muslims can celebrate the breaking of their fast together.
The sun is due to set on Wednesday, July 17th at approximately 8:23pm, which is when the Iftar will commence.
Last year, hundreds of community members attended the event and enjoyed food prepared by CAIR-Chicago staff, interns, family and volunteers. Attendees are invited to bring a dish or beverage that represents their heritage or culture. If you would like to contribute to the Taste of Ramadan iftar, please let us know on the RSVP page what you plan to bring and what global cuisine it represents.
