CAIR-Chicago Takes Part in the Governor’s Racial Profiling Taskforce Subcommittee Meeting

CAIR-Chicago’s Governmental Relations Coordinator Sadiya Ahmed took part in the Data Evaluation subcommittee meeting on Monday, January 9, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the James R. Thompson Center. The subcommittee met to discuss and analyze the data that has been collected for the 2004 Traffic Stop Statistical Study. The group will make recommendations, after analyzing the data, on changes it feels are needed in the overall data collection. The next subcommittee meeting will be held on Monday, January 23, 2006 at the James R. Thompson Center. Also present at the meeting where members from the ACLU, NAACP, University of Chicago Legal Aid Clinic, members of the Illinois General Assembly, law enforcement agencies, and various others. copyright © 2006, cairchicago.org
