Ahmed Rehab Meets with French Dignitaries

This Saturday CAIR-Chicago Executive Director Ahmed Rehab sat down for a meeting and lunch with the French Consul General of the Midwest, Vincent Floreani (pictured far right), his deputy consul Jean-Christophe Paris (far left) and the French government head of the agency against racism and anti-semitism, Gilles Clavreul (center left). Clavreul was on an American tour to learn about discrimination and anti-discrimination efforts in the United States. During the lively meeting the recent rise of Islamophobia in both countries was discussed as well as strategies for how to better improve the relationship between the Muslim community and the French government.
