Ahmed Rehab Speaks at Maine Township United
On Sunday, March 12th Executive Director Ahmed Rehab spoke at the Main Township United Rally along with U.S. Representative Jan Schakowksy (D-IL, 9th District) and Ameya Pawar, currently Alderman for Chicago’s 47th Ward and a candidate for the Governor of Illinois.
Ahmed spoke on the importance of unity in the particular political climate not just for Muslims, but for all people of all backgrounds, as humans that want the same things and have the same dreams.
