CAIR-Chicago Attends Islamic Foundation Annual Dinner / 20 DuPage Elected Officials & Candidates Attend

CAIR-Chicago Executive Director, Yaser Tabbara, attended Saturday the annual dinner at the Islamic Foundation. Imam Mustapha Sangore, from Long Island, New York, delivered the keynote address which About 20 elected officials representing the DuPage County area attended including Congresswoman Judy Biggert who briefly presented to the attendees. The following officials and candidates joined the Congresswoman at the dinner: State Senator and a GOP candidate for Lieutenant Governor, Steve Rauschenberger; State Senator and GOP Secretary of State candidate, Dan Rutherford; State Senator and DuPage County Republican Party President, Kirk Dillard; former State Senator and a candidate for Illinois Treasurer Christine Rodognio; State Representative Randy Ramey; DuPage County Forest Preserve President Dewey Peroitti; DuPage County Sheriff John Zaruba; DuPage County Commissioner Brien Sheehan; DuPage County Commissioner and candidate for DuPage County Treasurer Bob Heap; DuPage County Forest Preserve Commissioner Marsha Murphy; DuPage County Forest Preserve Commissioner and a candidate for DuPage County Treasurer Gwen Henry; West Chicago Mayor and State Representative candidate Mike Fortrunner; GOP gubernatorial candidate Jim Oberweis; GOP gubernatorial candidate Ron Gidwitz; and York Township Trustee Moin Moon Khan.
