CAIR-Chicago Communications Coordinator, Amina Sharif, will be giving a presention at a DePaul University class entitled "Multiculturalism and Democracy: Middle East Communities in the United States." The course focuses on issues of political socialization and identity. Sharif will be discussing the demographics of the Muslim American community, public perceptions of Islam, and the work of CAIR-Chicago to promote tolerance and fight discrimination.
