Join CAIR-Chicago at the FBI Headquarters to protest recent FBI raids of the homes of peaceful, anti-war activists. What: Protest of FBI Raids

When: Monday, September 27 4:30 p.m.

Where: FBI Headquarters 2111 Roosevelt Road, Chicago

See more details below:

The protest is one of 19 scheduled to take place in cities across the country in response to FBI  raids last week.  The homes of prominent anti-war protesters from Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota were searched, and the FBI seized  computers, cell phones, political leaflets and photos of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X.

The FBI wouldn't comment on the nature of their search, but the warrants indicated they were searching for domestic links to terror organizations in Colombia and the Middle East.

The United National Antiwar Committee has called for cities across the country to hold protests in response to this blatant attempt to intimidate those who organize in opposition to U.S. wars.
