CAIR-Chicago Co-Sponsors its Second Annual June Blood Drive with Local Islamic Organizations
CAIR-Chicago and local Islamic organizations co-sponsored a series of blood drives in the Greater Chicagoland area that commenced this June. This is the second year that CAIR-Chicago participated in this event.

CAIR-Chicago Participates in National Citizenship Day Event
As part of "A New Americans Initiative" Project, the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR), in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Human Services, hosted a celebration for National Citizenship Day at Little Village High School in Chicago. Thousands of people came out to support this initiative and began their citizenship application processes.
Court Approves CAIR-Chicago’s Sensitivity Training Program
The Bridgeview Courthouse accepted a proposal for a 40-hour sensitivity training and community service program with CAIR-Chicago as part of the sentence given to an 18 year old man charged with battery.
High School Student Gives Presentation on CAIR-Chicago Internship Experience
On Tuesday June 6th, CAIR-Chicago intern, Musab Siddiqui from North Shore Country Day School, (a preparatory high school founded in 1919 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the quality of education found in eastern boarding schools) presented a heartfelt account of his experience as a CAIR-Chicago intern for his Senior Service Project.
CAIR-Chicago Rep. to Join Forum on Muslim-West Relations in Copenhagen, Denmark
CAIR-Chicago’s Communications Coordinator Sultan Muhammad is scheduled to participate in the second "Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow" forum in Copenhagen, Denmark, July 7 to July 9 alongside 100 young Muslims from 15 nations to discuss what they can do to improve Muslim-West relations. Muhammad says “It is without question humbling to have the opportunity to participate in such a defining event of our time wherein the usual is not suitable.”
