Support the CAIR-Chicago Legal Fund
CAIR-Chicago’s Civil Rights Department is the cornerstone of our mission—defending the rights of Muslims and all marginalized communities through advocacy, legal representation, and impact litigation. Our cases span racial profiling, workplace discrimination, police misconduct, hate incidents, and more. We tackle injustice through negotiation, litigation, education, and coalition-building with community and government partners.
From landmark employment discrimination cases to the first-ever lawsuit against Canary Mission, CAIR-Chicago continues to make history. But fighting systemic bigotry takes resources. Your contribution to the CAIR-Chicago Legal Fund directly fuels this work—supporting our attorneys, empowering our clinic, and strengthening our collective defense against discrimination.
We’re expanding this vital work with the launch of our Litigation Clinic, a new project under the Civil Rights arm.
Led by Legal Director Heena Musabji and Litigation Lead Christina Abraham, the clinic will train the next generation of civil rights defenders—offering law clerks, staff, and volunteer attorneys hands-on experience in strategic litigation from pre-trial preparation to courtroom advocacy.
