Sumaiyya Siddiqi

Communications - Fall 2025

Sumaiyya Siddiqi is a Fall Communications Intern at CAIR-Chicago. She is a senior at Northeastern Illinois University, where she is majoring in English and minoring in Media. She serves on the board for her university’s Muslim Students Association as an Event Coordinator. She recently completed her first year at the Qalam Seminary and continues her studies there part time. Sumaiyya has lived in the Chicago-land area her whole life and is an active community member and volunteer at the MEC Mosque. She is passionate about writing and photography, and hopes to use her skills to serve the Muslim community. Sumaiyya joined CAIR-Chicago because of their mission to uplift voices and strive for justice. In her free time, she loves being in nature, playing sports, and traveling.
