Mosque Torched in Anti-Muslim Crime During COVID-19 and Ramadan

 

On the first morning of this blessed Ramadan, Nicholas J. Proffitt set fire to an Islamic Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Last night, Cape Girardeau Police arrested and charged him with a hate crime resulting in property damage. (Proffitt is known to have had anti-Muslim motives which fared into his setting the fire).

Unfortunately, Islamophobia and anti-Muslim hate crimes do not take a break for COVID-19 nor Ramadan, neither should our fighting back! Support our fight. Donate today.
