ACTION ALERT: END FORCED EXPULSIONS IN JERUSALEM

Since World War II, The United States has been providing military aid to Israel. Israel receives $3.8 billion of our tax dollars from the United States every year. $3.3 billion goes to the Israeli military. In 2020, an additional $500 million of the U.S. Covid-19 relief funds also went to the Israeli military. Our tax dollars are also used to train U.S. police with the Israeli military.

Over the last week, Israel launched airstrike assaults on Palestinians living in Gaza (killing 20 people, 9 of them children), forced residents of Sheikh Jarrah out of their homes, and raided Al-Aqsa mosque in a push for occupancy of Palestinian lands.

Again, these unjust, violent acts of abuse are carried out with our tax dollars.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 12th at 4:00 PM, there will be a march and rally against abuse, and standing up for our rights not to be forced to enable abuse. Meet at Michigan and Congress in downtown Chicago and demand politicians to #SaveSheikhJarrah.
