CAIR-Chicago Celebrates Citizenship Wins for Two Clients

(Chicago, IL 1/13/2022) Today, the Chicago chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, (CAIR-Chicago) announced two citizenship wins for clients assisted in USCIS cases.

CAIR-Chicago assisted two individuals in getting their N-400 citizenship applications granted. The first individual was granted asylum, with CAIR-Chicago’s help, about three years ago. He was persecuted in Algeria due to his religious beliefs.

The second individual came from Pakistan and had issues applying for citizenship before due to her language skills. CAIR-Chicago assisted her with her application, went with her to her interview, helped her with the necessary documents, and she was ultimately granted citizenship. The two individuals will be taking their oaths of citizenship at a ceremony downtown on January 20, 2022.

CAIR-Chicago is the Chicago Chapter of America’s largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization. Our mission is to defend civil rights, fight bigotry, and promote tolerance.
