The Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago (CIOGC) recently honored the life and legacy of Malcolm X on May 19th, with a distinguished panel including speakers Clyde El-Amin, Salim Muwakkil, Ahmed Rehab, and Kai El Zabar.

The event's theme, “Preservation of Human Rights and Human Dignity Through Truth and Justice for All,” emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity against injustice, inspired by Malcolm X’s teachings.

Congratulations to CAIR-Chicago’s Executive Director, Ahmed Rehab, for receiving the 2024 Courage Award!
