PRESS CONFERENCE: Veterans and Community Advocates Join Together to Demand No ICE Presence at Hines VA Hospital

HINES, IL, (9/15/2025) – On Monday, September 15, at 4:00 pm, The Chicago office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Chicago) joined our partners and allies 'About Face'' for a press conference outside of Hines VA hospital.

Hines VA community members have voiced concerns about safety as it relates to the hospitals facilities due to an ICE presence. CAIR-Chicago joined in the calls to demand ICE out of a Hospital made to be a healing space for veterans.
