Dr. Rand Diab of ChiTown Muslimah Athletics Throws Out the First Pitch at Wrigley

CAIR-Chicago congratulates Ophthalmologist Dr. Rand Diab, who threw out the first pitch at Wrigley Field for Arab American Heritage Month. As part of Chitown Muslimah Athletics, Dr. Rand and others have cultivated a space for Chicagoland Muslim women to indulge in sports leagues such as softball, ball hockey, pickleball, and more. Chitown Muslimah Athletics aims to eliminate the binary decisions often forced upon Muslim women to choose between their faith or playing sports due to dress codes.
