The Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Chicago Area Law Foundation (AABA Law Foundation) has selected CAIR-Chicago as one of its partner organizations this summer.  They will be awarding one law student (rising 3L) a $5000 summer stipend to work full time at CAIR-Chicago this summer (Summer 2017).

Recipients must commit to working at CAIR-Chicago for ten weeks this summer and in attending the AABA Installation on September 14th.  Fellowships will begin April 1.

Applicants must submit

  • Resume
  • Cover letter which includes commitment to public interest, a passion for civil rights, and specific interest in CAIR-Chicago.
  • A 3-5 page writing sample on a relevant civil rights issue.
