LOYOLA UNIVERSITY- Chicago students affiliated with the student group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) will attend an administrative hearing scheduled this Thursday, October 30 to respond to allegations made against the group after Palestinian students lined up on September 9, 2014 to try to register for a Birthright Israel trip to highlight its discrimination against Palestinians.

On February 4 CAIR-Chicago co-hosted Cafe Finjan, an interfaith arts and culture event coordinated by the Jewish-Muslim Community Building Initiative (JMCBI). The event aims to bring together Jews and Muslims from across Chicago. Outreach Coordinator, Gerald Hankerson, performed spoken word poetry and facilitated group discussions on religion and identity. On Thursday, March 23, 2006, the Loyola Student Coalition Against Bigotry (LSCAB) is holding a peaceful rally and rebuttal against controversial speaker Ann Coulter, who is scheduled to speak about “Liberal Lies about the Conservative Right” on the Loyola Lakeshore campus at 7pm, that same day.
