CAIR-Chicago Government Affairs Coordinator Reema Ahmad will be speaking on a panel at a workshop titled "Public Policy and Governance" at the Community Builders Chicago 4th Annual Convention on Memorial Day. CAIR-Chicago Communications Coordinator, Amina Sharif, will be giving a presentation at a DePaul University class entitled "Multiculturalism and Democracy: Middle East Communities in the United States." The course focuses on issues of political socialization and identity.

Gerald Hankerson, Outreach Coordinator, was invited by United Muslims Moving Ahead (UMMA) of DePaul University to speak at its "Islam Awareness Week" discussion panel of individuals to discuss their personal experiences and why they choose Islam as their religion.
