Director on Teen Programs, Rebecca Katz, brought together a group of students from Or Tzedek, a leadership of Jewish youth, to present on various topics regarding oppression and discrimination.

Join us on Saturday, June 7 for an Asian American Town Hall Forum at the Japanese American Service Committee Center to discuss the various issues surrounding the Jianqing Klyzek CPD brutality case that shows video footage of a Chicago police officer striking Ms Klyzek, and threatening to put her in a box and deport her.

On June 4, Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkol Karman visited CAIR-Chicago. Karman is the first Yemeni, first Arab and second Muslim woman to win the award.

On May 31, 2014, 46 students from the American Studies program at Radboud University in Nijmegen, Holland filled CAIR-Chicago for an educational event.
