Iman Mirza

Outreach - Fall 2026

Iman Mirza is a second-year student at the University of Illinois Chicago, obtaining a major in Criminology, Law, and Justice and minoring in Sociology. Her academic focus reflects a deep interest in how legal systems shape communities and the individuals within them. Beyond her studies, Iman is passionate about social and animal justice, volunteering at PAWS-Chicago, a leading no-kill animal shelter and non-profit organization dedicated to ending the euthanasia of homeless pets. She brings that same commitment to fairness and compassion into her work with the Council on American Islamic Relations. In her free time, Iman enjoys playing with her cat, Bubbles, baking, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Through her outreach role, she hopes to connect people with the resources and support they need while learning firsthand how advocacy can drive meaningful change.
