Government Affairs - Summer 2025

Sharanya is a Summer 2025 Government Affairs intern at CAIR-Chicago. She is a pre-law student at Barnard College of Columbia University, studying Political Science and Economics with a particular interest in voting behavior and political psychology. She has previously interned with members of the U.S. Congress and is excited to support a civil rights organization dedicated to advocating for underrepresented communities and combating religious discrimination. In her free time, Sharanya enjoys volunteering with friends at local legal aid clinics, playing piano, and reading novels.
