CAIR-Chicago Communications Coordinator Aymen Abdel Halim is scheduled to present a lecture entitled “The Media and Islam” on Wednesday, March 13th at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

On Thursday, March, 14, 2013, CAIR-Chicago Communications Coordinator Aymen Abdel Halim will be speaking about U.S. media portrayals of Islam and Muslims at an event hosted by Carthage College as a part of their first Diversity Summit. 

CAIR-Chicago Executive Director Ahmed Rehab will be at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to present a lecture on the recent anti-Muslim film "The Innocence of Muslims", the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) teachings, and East-West relations.

This past Sunday, CAIR-Chicago’s Executive Director, Ahmed Rehab, presented a lecture titled “Egypt at a Crossroads: The Making of the Second Republic” at the American Islamic College in Chicago.

CAIR-Chicago Communications Coordinators Aymen Abdel Halim and Leena Saleh will be giving a joint presentation discussing the role of women in Islam and the effect media has on the perception of Muslims in America. Attending will be students from Carthage College who are studying the role of women in the literature and arts of the contemporary Middle East.
