(Chicago, IL, 4/18/2023) - The Chicago Office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Chicago) strongly condemns the recent incident in which a local town official was subjected to derogatory and hateful comments, including being referred to as a 'suicide bomber', after residents learned of her Muslim faith. 

CAIR-Chicago works to protect the rights of every Muslim American that comes through our doors.

Our community members depend on us to help them secure a safe home in the United States. CAIR-Chicago is unrelenting when it comes to fighting for our clients' rights, free of charge for all who cannot afford justice.
