Monday, November 13th marked a historic day in the life of Chicago's Muslim community thanks to a display of vision and generosity by Bridgeview's Muslim leadership.

CAIR-Chicago attorney Rima Kapitan filed a motion to move up the hearing of a Muslim man who had his chauffeur license suspended after police pulled him over for a traffic violation, approached him with drawn weapons, and detained him for seven hours where they made derogatory comments about his religion.

One hundred and forty three people from 35 different countries packed the courtroom in the federal building and became citizens of the United States of America.
